Documentation of New-media Performance & Installation created by Hector Canonge for his solo exhibition Schema CorpoReal at Topaz Arts, Woodside, Queens-NYC. The performance treats issues of gender and identity where users are invited to scan the barcode labels on various parts of the artist’s body. Each scanning triggers a narrative in relation to that part of the body. Written, directed and performed by Hector Canonge. June – July 2009.
