I am looking to use my phone as a scanner to add up monetary values from a barcode in excel (http://www.ehow.com/how_5016936_read-barcodes-excel.html). I was wondering if anyone knows any freeware to do so. I am looking to project the the value to items we receive, so those attending the event can see how much is being raised. Also, if anyone can think of an easier way or if the eHow article is wrong/outdated please let me know! Thanks!
